Rich Mangicaro currently resides in Los Angeles, California working as the percussionist/vocalist for Glenn Frey & Joe Walsh of the Eagles. For the past 10 years, Rich has been a member of Glenn & Joe’s solo band, performing worldwide in front of thousands of Eagles’ fans. Originally from Upstate, New York, Rich began performing professionally at age 18 with ‘50’s Rock legends The Drifters, while completing his Bachelors Degree in Music Performance. He then went on to tour nationally with various bands, until landing in Southern California in 1986. Along with his work with the Frey/Walsh Band, Rich has performed and/or recorded with The Tubes, Jackson Browne, Richard Street of The Temptations, Venice, Kathrin Shorr, Jenni Alpert, John Vester and others. Of the many recordings he’s been involved with, one of the more interesting projects was his work on Jeff Bridges debut album. Being an avid music fan and accomplished musician, Jeff had always wanted to make his own album and thus joined forces with friends Michael McDonald and David Crosby to complete his dream. Rich played percussion on that release entitled, “Be Here Soon”. Along with his performing and recording schedule, Rich is also a published author and educator and his articles can be found on many music trades worldwide. His music business workshop, “Inside The Player’s Studio” has been received at various colleges around the U.S., with rave review. Mangicaro is also the Director of Content for NovaTunes, a global, internet music company based in Venice Beach, California and Amsterdam, Netherlands. With a roster featuring internationally known artists such as Jackson Browne, Leon Russell, Bernard Fowler (vocalist-The Rolling Stones), Brian Ray (guitarist-Paul McCartney) and Graham Nash, as well as many up & coming artists, Rich overseas all the artist’s materials, including writing bios, assembling artist packages and directing video content.
