While attending M.S.U., Terrence acted in several student plays and films such as "Betty's Summer Vacation", "Musical Comedy Murders of 1940" and "Of Mice and Men" (Crooks). With all the plays/films Terrence had been in, he had yet to perform in one of M.S.U's main-stage performances.
That was until Terrence entered his senior year at Michigan State. In the Fall of 2002, Terrence was cast in "Three in the Back, Two in the Head" A political play that involved Terrence playing a retired military official caught up in scandals and cover ups. This was a breakout role for Terrence, who gained his first ACTF(American College Theatre Festival) nomination for the part.In the second half of the year, Terrence was granted one of his greatest wishes. Terrence was cast as Walter Lee Younger in "A Raisin in the Sun". The same play and part that gave him the desire to become an actor.
